Manual stretch film is often used for flexible use in different locations. In automated packaging lines or with a very high volume of pallets per day, the use of automatic stretch film on a mechanical stretching system is generally recommended. A distinction is made here between semi-automatic and fully automatic stretch film systems.

  • Semi-automatic stretch wrappers can wrap approx. 20-25 pallets per hour and are controlled by one operator.
  • Fully automatic stretch-wrapping systems are often integrated into the conveyor technology and logistics. This makes it possible to pack a significantly higher number of pallets per hour - up to 60 pallets per hour depending on the settings and technical equipment.
